Salary:

$100,000 - $120,000 + 10% Bonus

Summary

The Accounts Payables Manager will be responsible for providing operational leadership by delivering essential corporate AP services and oversight of processes to improve the accuracy of the AP transactions. They will also be building partnerships and alignment with key functions within the company. This position will lead and direct the work of a 15 individuals AP team, servicing 2 USA platforms (10 Business Units), using 14 ERPs. The ideal candidate must be familiar with Accounts payables and vendor management concepts, practices, and procedures to be successful in this role. The candidate must be creative and have sound judgment to plan and accomplish a variety of treasury tasks and goals.

Essential Functions

  • Lead and oversee the AP team and ensure successful outcomes of essential corporate AP services including invoice processing, wires, ACH, checks.
  • Ensure adherence to AP key compliance, documentation, and regulatory reporting requirements through the following of policies, authorizations, procedures.
  • Provide insight on evaluating and implementing new technologies, products, and services to improve AP cycle and simplify company operations.
  • Follow Vendor Management requirements and fraud preventive procedures.
  • Work with internal and external audit teams on vendor related questions.
  • Manage the employment life cycle for direct reports, including: hiring, performance and termination activities.
  • Train, coach and develop team to ensure individuals are meeting the established KPIs.
  • Participation ERP implementation projects.
  • Vendors follow up on issues/follow up with Purchasing and Global Sourcing team.
  • Act as a liaison between departments and vendors.
  • Perform other AP duties as requested in accordance with SOX compliance requirements.

Position Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.

Experience: 10 years’ experience in AP or other areas of finance.  5 years of team management experience.

  • MS Office suite, with advanced Excel usage
  • Good understanding of P.O. process
